DAVID McMANAWAY (AM. 1927-2010)
David McManaway was born in Chicago, IL in 1927. He received his degree from the University of Arkansas. He was the recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts fellowship and the Engelhard Award from the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston, MA.
McManaway had many solo exhibitions including Southern Methodist University Gallery, Dallas; Dallas Museum of Art and Contemporary Arts Museum, Houston. Selected public collections include the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, Dallas Museum of Art and the Menil Collection, Houston, TX.
